Job Description

As a PCB Design Engineer,  you will design, troubleshoot, and optimize PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies).

​

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to define optimal PCB design requirements.

  • Create schematic designs and translate them into the physical PCB design based on end-user  requirements.​

  • Develop and test prototypes and integrated circuits.

  • Prepare design documentation for production.

  • Reevaluate the design process to resolve issues or address client and consumer feedback.

  • Customer technical support.

Skills

  • Knowledge in FPGAs and VHDL and/or Verilog programming.

  • Knowledge in ASIC designs.

  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware issues (repairing and reworking boards).

  • Experience in component procurement and cost reduction.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Clear and concise communication skills for documentation and collaboration with manufacturers or customers.

  • Strong initiative with a proactive and innovative approach. 

  • Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor or Post-Graduate Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience with CAD tools, specifically Altium and/or PADS.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in routing high-speed PCB designs.

  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC requirements and product certification.
